If only he were still here. Venisha Brown, one of nine kids of the late James Brown is allegedly addicted to meth according to several news outlets. Venisha is no stranger to law enforcement as she has had numerous encounters thru the years. James Brown died Dec 25, 2006, after a famed career in music. In 2011 Venisha did a few tributes to her dad which were successful. In 2012 Venisha was arrested for stealing a car and sentenced to five years. She was released 12 months later on probation. Court records show Brown has been arrested two dozen times in the last 17 years. Brown is being held in the Richmond Count Jail without bond. This article is from a reprint in 2014.
