Laura Goodman, co-owner of a Italian restaurant learned something, after receiving death threats about putting meat in a vegan dish. Word got out that Ms. Goodman posted her deed in Facebook saying, ” pious, judgmental, vegan had gone to bed still believing she’s a vegan. “Naturally the ” pious, judgmental, vegan,” wasn’t going for it. Red hot fire is what she faced online, with people calling her actions among other things disgusting, unprofessional. Some were reportedly suggesting she could be the recipient of a dirt bath. Ms Goodman has since apologized, telling a local newspaper, “I am deeply sorry for my comments, no meat products were used.” Authorities have said they have received complaints and are currently investigating. Co-owner Michael Gale also denied Ms Goodman spike the “tofu bacon,” saying “We appreciate the outrage Ms. Goodmans ill judged comments on social media has caused and would like to apologize for what it insinuated.” The restaurant’s reviews have been in the toilet since.
