Four People Killed At Car Wash By Ex-Boyfriend

A deranged gunman, armed to the teeth, was responsible for the shooting deaths of four people at a rural car wash in Southern Pennsylvania. Carrying an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle, 9 mm handgun, .308-caliber rifle, and wearing protective gear, Timothy Smith, 28, opened fire on the five victims. Chelsie Cline, 25, William Scott Porterfield, 27, Courtney Sue Snyder, 23, and Seth William Cline, 21, were shot to death in the wee hours of the morning at around 3 am. An unidentified woman in the back seat was able to hide. She survived with minor injuries from breaking glass. Although a motive has not been established by the police, family members say Smith and Chelsie Cline were involved until she broke it off a few months ago. Porterfield and Chelsie Cline were killed when they got out the car together on the side of the building. The other two victims arrived moments later and were subsequently killed. As almost always happens after a mass shooting event, the killer put one to the head. He was taken to the hospital and put on life support. Officials say he is not expected to survive. The incident happened at Ed’s Car Wash in Saltlick Township Pa.
