The Asian Assault

I got a story to tell you. Three weeks ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a small child picked up a key chain in an Asian beauty supply store. You may remember from your history books that Tulsa was the scene of one of the most deadliest race riots in American history. The massacre took place May 31 -June 1, 1921. The attack destroyed more than 35 blocks of the Greenwood district, at the time the wealthiest black community in the U.S. Almost 300 African  Americans were killed with thousands more injured or left homeless. This is our back drop. On August 12, April Harding and her three year old son were at  Anna & Jun’s Beauty Supply Store. The child pick up a 99 cent key chain and walked out the store with it. Jun came out the store and accosted April. When April shove him away, he punch her in the face, busting her lip. First it wasn’t all that. He could have called the police or asked for the key chain back. But no he felt he could punch this women in her face because that’s the way he felt. Now I don’t know about you, but had this been my woman, I would have went up there and whipped his “mofokin” ass. These attacks by Asian men on black women have got to stop. This was the second attack by an Asian’s on a black women in the last couple of weeks. In Brooklyn, New York a gang of Asians jumped on a black women after a botched eyebrow job. The black woman told the technician she would pay for all the services except for the eyebrows. She was then attacked by several Asian’s wielding sticks, brooms and knives. Its time to make these business accountable. They come into our communities, take the money out, don’t contribute a damn thing and now they beating up our women.

What make’s this even worst is that some of our women have sold the souls to wear these European style wigs. Personally, I prefer the natural style, but whatever floats your boat, I can deal with it. So I mentioned something about soul selling. Well in the Oklahoma case, black men decided to try and boycott the offender. They wanted to stand with our black women and stand up for them. And while they was standing up for them, the usurper and seller of the European dream lowered his price by half. Fifty percent off for everything in the store!! What I’m going to tell you next is going to hurt. The week after this Asian man had punch a black women in her face, in front of her three year old, the line to his store was half way down the block. Those black women in spite of that man attacking a woman from there community went in droves back to his store. I can’t believe it. Folks if there ever was a time when we need a united front, this is it.
