Brandt Jean

Now before we start this article, I just want to make one thing clear. I am probably the number one fan of the saying, ” When they go low, I go lower.” As a matter of fact I am writing this article from a cave deep beneath the the floor of the Grand Canyon. Okay… I am not on the floor of the Grand Canyon, but I’m not that far from Luray Caverns. Anywho, as we all have heard the killer of Botham Jean, the former Houston police officer Amber Guyger, was found guilty of murder and sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Reports say she is eligible for parole in five and who knows, may be out in three years for good behavior.

Now a lot of news outlets are showing photos and clips of how Botham brother and the judge embraced the defendant after the sentencing. There is even a picture of a police women straightening her hair. This along with the light sentence, left a lot of people in disbelief and scratching their heads. They say some folks were even selling Head and Shoulders right in front of the courthouse after the verdict. Most of us felt like the people in the clip below:

Now I don’t want to focus on Amber Guyer. Everyone who thought she was going to get 99 years or life in prison, was born just a few seconds before you read this sentence. We talking about a young white female in Houston Texas, who killed a dark black man at night, whom she thought was in her apartment and she is a police officer too? I’m surprised they didn’t carry her to the witness stand on a throne and serve her a daiquiri while someone did her nails. Like the old school boys in DC say, “Come on now..” We are all too familiar with the Texas, where almost half of the people on death row are black, where Juneteenth originated and where just a few months ago Texas Rangers lead a black man on a leash like an animal while they rode horses through the middle of downtown Galveston… Come on now…

No, I want to focus on the Jean family and the other black families whom we castrate because they show compassion to the perpetrators of some of the most heinous crimes one human can do to another. We call them Uncle Tom’s, House Negro’s and slaves or any other number of derogatory names to let them know of our displeasure for giving aid to the enemy. But I am not sure if that’s the right thing to do. It reminds me of the bully’s who prayed on the smart kids in school. Some of you know what I am talking about. It wasn’t “cool” to be smart. Could I forgive Guyer or those like Guyer, probably not.

Brothers Attack Their Mother’s Killer In Courtroom

The murderer in the video above got 23 years to life. The woman two sons, Anthony Dees and Jerome Stewart are charged with assault and obstructing official business and are awaiting trial.

Dwayne Stafford

When the racist scoundrel and obscene protovirus, Dysoon Roof got his while awaiting trial for the Charleston Church shootings in which he killed nine black parishioners, I went outside and did the electric slide. For those that don’t remember, Roof was left in a room by himself when Dwayne Stafford crawled through a small window in the room and got into that @$$. Roof didn’t press charges and Stafford was bailed out the next day through a GoFund Me Page which raised $100,000. Last we heard he was doing fine. So yeah, I like a little revenge on my justice, but i will never forget this…

There is no way, I would not honor the faith and sacrifice of these people. It’s amazing there are so many of them, with the tribulations that we face each and every day at the hands of racist. We are a people of warriors, but among us there are the peacemakers, like the relatives of the Charleston Church Massacre and Rodney King, who asked “Can’t we all Get Along or Brandt Jean who forgave the killer of his brother. I guess peace is what we all want, but only a few of us have found it. After the terrible ordeal these brothers and sisters have been through, if they have found peace through forgiveness, I am not going to help take it from them.
