We have all been in those situations where we wish we knew what the couple who we think keeps staring at us, is saying in a different language. Don’t worry about it. Its just human nature to be inquisitive about the unknown, or maybe even a little paranoid. But more times than not, those people are not thinking about you and probably wouldn’t be looking at you if you weren’t looking at them. Don’t get me wrong, because bigots and racist come in every color and creed. I recently came across an article which as they stated, “restored some of my faith in my fellow human being.” Filmmakers Issa Shaker and Anass Bendrif made this short film to create more awareness for online hate speech. A Muslim woman asks people to translate a bigoted message. The texts she want people to translate are from actual racist and bigots. The participants have no idea that they are part of an experiment. It looks like there is still a chance for us.
