Don’t Do The Crime If You Can’t Do The Time.

Recently we heard of the foul subhuman, Larry Nassar being sentenced to an astounding 175 years. His heinous crime was the sexual abuse of hundreds of young women gymnast over a period of two decades. Now 175 years is a long time, but nothing compared to some of the longest sentences ever handed out in a court. The longest sentence ever handed out belongs to Chamoy Thipyaso. In 1989, she defrauded more than 16,000 Thais in a pyramid scheme worth $204 million at the time. At sentencing she received 141,078 years. However, Thipyaso only served 8 of those years and was released. In 1994, Charles Scott Robinson was sentenced to 30,000 years in an American court for 6 counts of rape. The fiend raped 6 children. The judge who said he was weary of criminals serving only a portion of their time sentenced, followed the jury’s recommendation and sentenced the predator to 5000 years on each count. Allan Wayne McLaurin and co-fiend, Darron Bennalford Anderson each received over 10,000 years, with McLaurin receiving 20,750 years. Both were convicted of crimes ranging from rape of an elderly woman, to larceny, robbery and kidnapping. Anderson thought the punishment was to severe and appealed. You see originally Anderson was only sentenced to 2,250 years. (LOL).. I’m sorry. After the appeal he was re-sentenced and given an additional jail term of 9,500 years. I guess some where during the appeals process, someone had mercy on their miserable souls and each man’s sentenced was reduced by 500 years.

Now these are your everyday sum of the earth types. The lowest of the low, those responsible for mass murder events, gets no love. Terry Nichols  was convicted of 161 counts of first degree murder, first degree arson, and conspiracy by the state court of Oklahoma for his part in the Oklahoma City bombing of April 19, 1995. He was also sentenced in federal court for terrorism and eight counts of involuntary manslaughter. The fiend set a record for most consecutive life sentences ever given to a single individual.

City fire Capt. Chris Fields carries 1-year-old Baylee Almon, April, 19, 1995 at the Alfred Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. The child died of her injuries.

His buddy, Timothy McVeigh,  was convicted of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction, use of a weapon of mass destruction, destruction with the use of explosives and eight counts of first-degree murder. Because McVeigh was convicted and sentenced to death, the State of Oklahoma did not file murder charges against McVeigh for the other 160 deaths. McVeigh was executed by lethal injection at 7:14 a.m. on June 11, 2001, at the U.S. Federal Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana and was cremated. I know this story is not about McVeigh, but that “%$^#@”, wanted them to put his ashes at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building memorial site. The building he blew up!

On April 4, 1991, in Sacramento, California forty-one people were taken hostage at a Good Guys! electronics store located near the Florin Mall, by four Vietnamese gunmen after botching a prior robbery. During the hostage crisis, three hostages, as well as three of the four hostage-takers, were killed. Loi Khac Nguyen, surviving fiend of the siege was convicted of three murders, 11 attempted murders and 35 counts of kidnapping. For his troubles he got 49 consecutive life sentences without parole. A life sentence in most states is 25 years. Well, its almost time to wrap this up, but we got a few un-honorable mentions. Sex fiend, Thomas Hailiday, convicted of 234 counts of sexual abuse, creating and possessing child pornography for abusing a teenage girl for four years, filming and photographing the abuse. He was given 1870 years, but is eligible for parole in 935 years and convicted fiend and murder Rene Lopez. Lopez was convicted of repeatedly raping his daughter over a four-year period. The convection was based on a diary in which she recorded the attacks. It was corroborated by other evidence and he was convicted of 186 separate assaults. He was originally given a plea deal of 13-22 years, but he turned it down. The child rapist ended up with a sentence of 1,503 years. He was convicted in 2016, so he has a little bit over 1500 years to go.

I know I have been somewhat flippant in sections this report and I am sorry. It is imperative that we make our children know that there is a very real price that they will have to pay, if they choose any of the routes these men and women have taken. It doesn’t even have to add up to thousands of years, just ask Tony Farmer.
