The internet feud is not even simmering down as the President and Representative Omar throw the proverbial stones at each others glass house. The feud started when Omar was elected as one of two of the first Muslim women to serve in Congress. In addition she is the first naturalized citizen from Africa and the first woman of color to be elected to serve in Congress from Minnesota. She had a target on her back when she took the oath of office and the President has been throwing stones at her ever since.
Now the feud got even hotter when in March of this year, Omar said out loud what everybody else was thinking. In a open forum with other members of Congress, she asked if the loyalties of the American Jewish community were in line with the loyalties of other Americans and if our other elected officials turned a blind eye to a segment of the population that may have an allegiance to a foreign country because of the political influence it wields. Now normally I stay in my lane and let those folks hash it out between themselves. But I just can’t.
Israel receives over $3 billion in direct foreign assistance each year, which is roughly one-fifth of America’s entire foreign aid budget. In per capita terms, the United States gives each Israeli a direct subsidy worth about $500 per year. That means that we give every man, woman and child in Israel $500 a year. Israel also benefits from about $8 billion of loan guarantees, if they don’t pay it, the American taxpayer will. The US agreed to a $38 billion dollar military assistance package with Israel over a 10 year period. Over the objection of President Obama, the Congress invited the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to a Joint Session of Congress in which he trashed the American leadership. Those fools had the nerve to give the leader of a foreign nation a standing ovation while he trashed the very system they were elected to uphold. It was one the most shameful spectacles I had ever seen in politics. I threw up in my mouth.
So we can see why she has some apprehension towards the loyalties of some Americans. I have only scraped the surface insofar as lets call it the generosity of the American politician to the Israeli politician. Now lets talk about our glass house. Last week the President tweeted one of the most incendiary racist video’s that has ever been disseminated by any President in history. It featured a Muslim freshmen congresswoman against the backdrop of the bombing of the World Trade center. In the clip the congresswoman say’s, “some people did something.” That’s the part they spliced out of the text. The congresswoman actually said, “Many Americans were using the attacks on 9/11 to hate all Muslims just because “some people did something.” Here is the racist clip the President tweeted.
I will give you some time to rinse your mouth out…. Okay, so the President throws this red meat out there for his base. We are all to familiar with this Presidents tactics of divide and conquer. Black against white, Jew against Christian, poor against rich, Republicans against Democrats, in the age of nos contra illos, this President has no peer.

Well Mr. President, I’m African American, what do I have to lose? Is that the house? Somebody give me a rock….
