Yeah, I’m Bringing It Back Up

Child predator Dennis Hastert on the right at George Bush State Of The Union Address

“Nothing is more disturbing than having serial child molester and speaker of the House in the same sentence.”

Judge Thomas Durkin.

“The Speaker of the House is the presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives. The office was established in 1789 by Article I, Section 2of the United States Constitution. The Speaker is second in the presidential line of succession, after the Vice President and ahead of the President pro tempore of the Senate.”

Okay, so I am petty, but this one here. Former Speaker of the House and convicted serial child molester Dennis Hastert was recently released from federal prison after serving 13 months of a 15 month sentence for illegally structuring bank withdrawals to circumvent banking laws. Since the statue of limitations had passed, he could not be tried for child sexual rape and abuse. Many of you may remember this was about the same time as Bill Cosby was indicted for rape. He was accused of drugging women and having sex with them without their consent. Sex fiend and child molester Hastert’s indictment and subsequent conviction was put on the back burner while Cosby’s sexual abuse allegations were put on the front page of every newspaper in the United States. Cosby too has been subsequently convicted of indecent assault. Reminds me of a line in “Its A Wonderful Life,” when Zuzu tells her father George, “Look daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings, an angel gets it wings.” But in this case every time a dollar drops, a crook evades the law. Yes Virginia, there is a double standard when it comes to the meting out justice.

Hastert being released from so called prison. They got better landscaping than I do.

Dennis Hastert admitted to sexual abuse, telling the judge that he sexually abused students while serving as the wrestling coach for Yorkville High School 30 years ago. According to some reports, The media was also slow to report the story that Hastert was a serial child molester. In 2006, Jolene Reinboldt Burdge told ABC News and the Associated Press that her late brother, Steve Reinboldt, had been the victim of sexual abuse by Hastert in the late 1960s and early 1970s while managing the high school wrestling team that Hastert coached. ABC News reportedly “could not corroborate Jolene’s allegation,” and so they held onto the story for nine years. Stephen Reinboldt died of AIDS in 1995. Two others, who came to the school later, were also molested and sexually abused by Hastert. The identity of the fourth accuser whom authorities have deemed credible remains unknown. They all graduated from college. You know something else? It was also reported by the Chicago Tribune that, in Yorkville, Illinois, where the predator taught and where the Tastee Freez was a gathering place for local teens, Hastert also taught many “siblings” of the alleged victims and knew most of their parents on a first-name basis. Yet they all kept quiet about their hometown’s favorite son and the inappropriate sexual contact  he had with them when they were high school students and he was in a position of trust.  Who could blame them, the man was two heart beats from the presidency. They all knew about it.. including the Congress. Hastert probably had dirt on all them so they kept quiet also. You don’t get that close to the presidency without the FBI, Secret Service and NSA knowing everything about you…even the mole on the back of his ass.

In July Hastert was released from a federal prison and moved to a Chicago halfway house where he will serve the rest of his 15-month. This pedophile will only served 1 year and 3 months. Child rape is usually considered a felony. If the perpetrator was under 18, in some states, this may still constitute statutory rape. For acts without consent or when consent cannot be granted, a minimum sentence may be 30 years or more. But most of the time when the victim is 12 or older, the crime is usually charged as a second degree felony with a maximum sentence of fifteen years in prison.

Why did I bring it up? So you know that another child sexual predator has been let loose in our community. Since he was not charged with a sex crime, he will not be on the Sex Offenders Registry. His name is Dennis Hastert and he used to be the Speaker of the House and presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives.
