February Drop Award

Nope, I haven’t forgot about our Drop recipients and it’s not because there was a lack of nominees. I have just been busy on other projects. I started the Drop Awards in March of last year. It was Jody Goeler, a foul, spitting, loud racist who inspired these awards and I am forever wicked smile grateful. We will be announcing the 2019 winner of the Drop Award later this month, so stay tuned.

Now after qualifying for the Drop Awards, a recipient is awarded points for their transgressions. When we designed the point system, the very first points that were to be awarded was for using the “N” word.

Racial Slurs: 3 pts each ( No points for partial racial slur. ie candidate gets smacked in the mouth and only gets out the “n” sound.) Consideration will be given if the candidate is able to get out the partial slur “nig” before being smacked as this could be a violation in some places. Consideration does not mean points.

So nevva in my wildest dreams did I think someone would try to make using the “N” word legal. Yep, Jarred Karal and Ryan Mucaj says the 1st Amendment guaranteeing their right to free speech gives them the right to call a black person a nigger. Dentist and funeral homes all over the world are paying for their legal defense. Black organizations have sent numerous invitations asking them to come speak before them. Clarence Thomas has invited them to dinner but asks that they use the word “sir” after they address him by the “N” word as a sign of respect.

So this happened in February of this year and there is supposed to be video of it, but I haven’t found it. They were arrested under Connecticut law which makes it a misdemeanor to ridicules or holds up to contempt any person or class of persons, on account of the creed, religion, color, denomination, nationality or race of such person or class of persons. But state lawmakers were reviewing the law to see if it violates the Constitution. So imma tell you something right now.. it ain’t gonna werk…

Black cop: Sir I caught you doing 35mph in a 25 mph speed zone. Racist Motorist: Nigg@r whatcha talking about.. I wasn’t speeding. If I had known you was a nigg@r I wouldn’t have even stopped. Black cop: Sir can I see your driver’s license and registration? Racist Motorist: No you can’t nigg@r. Black cop: (Turns off his body cam and pulls white racist through car window.)

Or

Black School Teacher: It’s so nice to see you all again, how was your vacation? Lily White: (Raises hand.) Black School Teacher: Yes Lily? Lily White: My dad says it’s okay if I call you a nigg@r. Black School Teacher: Yes Lily, it’s legal for you to address me by that word… The Next Day… Reporter: It’s been 24 hrs and the standoff sees no signs of ending… as negotiators try to persuade Ms Bambam into releasing young Lily White unharmed…

Anywho, the school did punish them.. but not for using the “N” word. Instead they said the pair was violating a disruptive behavior policy by shouting out the “N” word from the steps of the administration building. That’s when Karal and Mucaj decided to sue. I read this article in one of my favorite sources for information.. The Root. I am divided on the subject like the author of that piece. I know deep down inside that they have the constitutional right to say it… but like the 14th amendment says, I have the constitutional right to “bare” arms.. and Ima roll up my sleeves and beat the Bill of Rights out yo azz!!

DROP Points : 54 pts

Use of a racial slur: 50 pts ( No telling how many times they said it when no one was listening..)

Location: 2pts

Video: 2 pts (I would have given them the 5pts, but I couldn’t find the video.)

Editors Discretion 10 pts (Ewww!!) Since I haven’t heard anymore about this case, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt by giving them 10pts. I figure after the 30 days they spent in jail on the misdemeanor charge with Black Hamma and Loose Change, they probably will drop the lawsuit.
